Idk, looks very similar but sounds like they've polished and added/tweaked some features and mechanisms which I think was the best thing they could've done. Blacksmithing wasn't a thing in the first, they've added dodging to combat, master strikes are different and only available on swords, stealth and crime have been expanded on, and the open world is bigger and more quality content.

The combat takes some getting used to for sure.
It took 7 hours before I figured out how to get my character to read.
You start off as a peasant and they mean it. You suck ass at everything at the start.
In this one they've made Henry semi competent so you won't have nearly as rough of a go.
