I don't like how Atlantic has handled Kodak the past couple of years. " Dying to Live" was the last time they seemed to care. I'm glad this is his last album with them.
Hopefully Capitol is a better situation for him.

As a label, it’s kinda illogical to invest as much as they hypothetically could into Kodak when when has gotten into as much trouble as he has
He’s very talented but so much of a loose cannon that any label that signs him is risking a lot of money with him
I know he’s trying to be good to his artists but he needs some real features man. Wtf lmao. like damn Kodak.
I can tell album gonna be hella auto tuned smh. He also needs to get back to Florida beats man. Too many generic trap beats now

Fair point, do you think he'd fare better going the Young Dolph route by signing to Empire instead of a major?

Having a Label backing him and to what degree is far more reliant on his own behavior than anything else rn imo
If he cleaned up after 2021 he’d be in a bidding war rn

He’s still one of the biggest stars after Kendrick/Cole/Drake in rap music lol
How you don’t trust enough to invest in him but won’t release him because you know he gon make someone else an ass of money lol
Kodak is like Drake where we take that initial run for granted because he became such a household name. Niggas be falling off after them first few songs that s*** is to be applauded lol

his artists are HARD c'mon mane
literally the feature verses on Kutthroat Bill are perfect compliments to Kodak

Nothing that you said is necessarily conflicting with what I’m saying
Obviously he’s extremely profitable and labels don’t wanna let go of him. It’s more so how much money they wanna put into him while they have him. Touring, promo, radio play, access to resources etc etc etc etc
