nah because that's your definition n association of words...you can't claim your definition is also his...espc when he already said it isn't....in order to create a new version of "what he said"...bc then it isnt what he said

That’s the legal definition of child abuse, “hitting a child beyond a light spanking” go look at any DCF, DHHS, DCS website

How do you expect your kids to trust you when you hit them when they do something problematic?

“At times” once again we are leaving things to chance and there is no assumption that anything wrong can happen as a result

We can happily eliminate violence from childrens’ lives but y’all will continue to defend it because you’re all trying to shortcut raising a f***ing human being

No, I'm just not tryna make oversweeping generalization and assumptions like ur doing lol

The fact that you want your children to be scared of you says everything. You are supposed to be your child’s protector not someone they fear. And that’s why if they f*** up they won’t come to you to resolve it and instead try to hide it.

Bro what? Did you even f***ing read what I just said? I literally SPECIFICALLY said “not enough to make them scared of me”

You really are on the spectrum aren’t you chief

Ur jumping in a middle of a convo where I address this point prior lol where physical discipline has more advantages in certain instances than non

Idk man my point is that every situation where you think physical abuse can be justified/effective/etc can be handled equally or more effective with civilized methods

I didn’t look at this that deeply as a kid Dawg

It was “oh I was bad? Guess I won’t do that again haha”

Yes but it created trauma in your developing brain that lasts a lifetime. And before that idiot comes around calling me a dr I literally work at a juvenile corrections program and have to take classes on trauma.

“My parents beat me until I had black and blues and occasional bleeding, but it’s okay that’s not abuse!”

the legal definitions of things are not automatically every person's inherent definition of things....if they were, there'd be literally no reason to label them "legal" definitions

you're grasping at straws for what purpose bro? to tell someone you dont know that his mother who you dont know is abusive? because you can play word association games?
