Got the terrible call from the vet yesterday that my 11 month old cat got some crazy disease called FIP. It's almost always fatal, but there's a black market d*** with a 90% cure rate that I can get from a Facebook group. I thought it was BS but my vet even vouched and said that'd be the best route. Unfortunately, s***s like 3k for 3 months of injections and isn't covered by pet insurance.

Update y'all:

Nellie got her first injection on Saturday. It's 84 days of injections and 84 days of observation until she's fully cured. Don't want to jinx it but she's acting more energetic already and the cloudy eyes seem to be clearing up. Couldn't be happier man.

Appreciate everyone who's supported, I'll be posting pics throughout the (hopeful) path to recovery
