Update y'all:

Nellie got her first injection on Saturday. It's 84 days of injections and 84 days of observation until she's fully cured. Don't want to jinx it but she's acting more energetic already and the cloudy eyes seem to be clearing up. Couldn't be happier man.

Appreciate everyone who's supported, I'll be posting pics throughout the (hopeful) path to recovery

another update:

about a quarter way through the injections! nellie still puts up a fight daily, but has gained about a pound and is getting back to her normal energetic self. got the first set of bloodwork next week so we'll see how the medicine is helping but here's a pic in the meantime

i'm willing to help with 1/3rd myself

and if you want can do a 0% interest loan to pay back the other 1/3rd as you can so you have some peace of mind for kitteh and don't have to stop the treatments

update

took Nellie to the vet for bloodwork last week and almost all of her levels are back to baseline! we switched from injections to pills (more pricey) but it's been way easier on her day-to-day. crazy to think how bad the outlook seemed when I first made this thread. still about 40ish days of pills left to go, but we've seen so much success so far. including pic from Nellie's first birthday as thank you to everyone who's contributed

Update!

Finished the 84 days of treatment for Nellie, and about two weeks to go until the 84 days of observation is done. Didn't want to post anything to avoid jinxing it, but it looks like she's in the clear

Thanks to everyone itt who helped out, just know you helped save a cat who has a long life to look forward to now

I'll update with a few pics once we clear the observation period in a week or so, gonna have a lil celebration
