provideri see this topic once a month but then users in every other thread talking about how tapped in and influential the site is, lol. i think it's somewhere right in the middle.
yea 100% its somewhere in the middle now but in the old days the ktt forums were pretty much always ahead of the curve and if you were into old music and s***ting on new stuff you would get laughed at and told to post on boxden or the coli
the 2010s were better for the ktt forums everything new is wack and the old forum was categorically better

The craziest thing is that if we actually support rap artists that can actually be a threat to Drake, Kendrick, and Cole musically and commercially
We wouldn't really have that much conversations about how we miss "old decades of rap".
But no we continue to hype up niggas like Yeat and Carti like they're revolutionary artists, then complain when older fans are not feeling them like they're feeling Kendrick or Cole.
At the same time, a lot of yall will say the Big 3 argument is dead, but we still hold those 3 in high regard for some reason, because we know we need rap artists that can actually compete against them.

You gotta admit that Simz and JID, particularly the former, are nice. SIMBI one of the best rap albums I've heard in my life
I can respect not liking rage/mumble rap stuff, I barely listen to that myself. But we got lyricists out here right now too who know how to make great albums as well

yeah this exactly. i was on the old site and it (and forums in general) were just kinda different back then. there's so many different places to discuss all this stuff now and the info is easier to get. here's no different to certain subreddits/forums/twitter/rym etc
