Had his 1st miss with "Tenet"
hate it had to be you bro, but youre wrong. Dunkirk is his first miss
I gave Tenet a 4 and a half / 5 when I first saw it
But I hadn't been to the cinema in MONTHS (hadn't gone for a while even before the lockdown started)
So coming back to a huge IMAX screen made the experience so amazing that I enjoyed the movie so much
When I rewatched it though, I realised I was just caught in that hype and it was more like 3 or 3 and a half
He's one of them guys that is extremely overrated by his fans, and extremely overhated by his.. haters
he has classics for sure, but a lot of them aren't the perfect masterpieces that people act like they are
One of my favourites but his work lately doesn't convey much. Tenet is such a shower movie.
Anyone go check following
Op do this also with other directors because it's a cool idea.

Perfectly said
Best movie? The Prestige
Are they overrated? Tenet is extremely overrated, but overall I wouldn’t say Nolan’s filmography is overrated. I actually think movies like DKR and The Prestige are severely underrated. His only bad films are Tenet and Insomnia.
Rank their filmography?
The Prestige
Memento
Inception
Interstellar
Dark Knight
Dunkirk
Dark Knight Rises
Batman Begins
Insomnia
Tenet
*I have not seen Following or any of his short films.

Saw a lot of Insomnia slander here
Why you don't like it?

It’s long, boring, and the setting (a small town in Alaska) is s***ty. The only redeeming feature of the film is Robin Williams’ performance.
A wonderful artist who I hope keeps making films well into his old age
I hope studios keep giving him the budget he deserves. Tenet might not have been as good as expected but it was still better than most blockbuster movies.
One of the very, very few directors that has mainstream appeal but also makes great movies.
The Dark Knight, Interstellar and The Prestige are my favorites of his.
He should stop doing the time thing for the next movie, change it up
I want to see him make a smaller movie again. Even something like The Prestige is way smaller than most if not all his movies after that one.
Most of the movies after that one have big set pieces which Prestige did not have. Want to see more of that.
He made some of the most memorable movies of the past 20 years. I love his passion for the IMAX format and practical effects.
Exactly. Especially his passion for using Practical Effects to this day is very nice to see. It makes all his films feel way real than other blockbusters, because they are real lmao

Damn you’re right
He’s extremely upset with how studios handled streaming this past year
Will be interesting to see how studios treat him moving forward and vice versa
He should stop doing the time thing for the next movie, change it up
Wanna see him go left field and smaller budget
Some eternal sunshine s***
Interstellar is top 3 movie oat
