This site won't ever compare to the classics on KTT1. And I'm saying this as someone who missed moments like Shout out KTT and the Rodeo thread. The general userbase was just way better and that can't be replaced, no matter how good this site looks. So many weirdos on here now, anyone who spent a lot of time on KTT around 2016 and prior can sense the difference

Everyone was much more friendly. Everyone on KTT1 wanted to laugh at the end of the day. There was trolling and s*** talking with fan bases but at the end of the day, it was all in good fun

Later KTT1 and KTT2 is just fueled with negativity and s***ty users

I logged into ktt in 2016 through Facebook. When it logged me out for the first time a year later, I could no longer log in through Facebook. I had no idea how else to use the website so I didn’t come back til 2019. Ktt2 has been better, but it’s worse. The negativity used to be more fun.

I mean it's not a coincidence KTT1's modern peak was at the times where mainstream big music was being released much more "sparingly" and it felt like cultural events when s*** would happen.

Today, the music industry is having a fast-food effect where s*** is being released constantly and there is nothing but chatty patty drama to cover ground

Why do y’all hate that the mods won’t let y’all say wild edgy s***? Mods give y’all more leeway on ktt2 anyway. There’s plenty of posters that would’ve gotten booted on ktt1.

Ima say ktt2 only because some of the s*** I loved on ktt1 was only because I was a teen/young adult.
