Insane song
Can’t do ten but graduation/that era and Migos mixtape run in 2013-14 are foundational to me
im mostly inspired by individual songs but these are the albums off top:
also good kid maad city by kendrick, discovery by daft punk and fleet foxes self titled
I do rap and electronic/dance beats
Changes all the time depending on what I'm listening to but i guess there are some mainstays
Anything by Oneohtrix Point Never
Joe Hisaishi - Kids Return
Burial - Kindred
Bladee & Ecco2k- Crest
Geinoh Yamashirogumi - Akira soundtrack / Ecophony Rinne & Gaia
My Bloody Valentine - loveless
Yellow Magic Orchestra - Technodelic
Probably more but that's just some of the albums that always inspire me i guess
Albums might be too specific
But I’d say I took allot of inspiration from J Dilla, Neptunes, Kanye, 9th Wonder, T-Pain, Lex Luger, Zaytoven & maybe some Soulja Boy
Gonna name artists and albums
JPEGMAFIA - the bar for experimental rap beats, showed me nothing is off limits
Dilla (specifically the early s*** with tribe and pharcyde) and Burial - both set the bar for drum programming in their own ways
Flying Lotus - no one’s been able to mesh rap and electronic music like him
Spaceghostpurrp - can’t comphrehend how he got such a raw and Lofi sound in a daw, really a 1 of 1 producer
Other inspirations:
First crystal castles album
Old three 6 always
First 3 massive attack albums
Cloud dead self titled
DJ rashad - double cup
Diplomatic immunity
Silent hill ost
In rainbows
Madvillianny
jai paul self titled
Die lit/ wlr v2
Donuts
Oh wow. I'd love to hear your beats.
