One thing though Jay elec likes lots of things that mention his name, he liked tweets where people say they listened to the leak and also liked tweets where people said they wont listen because it was stolen

He likes tweets from people dissing him. Could all be a mix of him not caring and him not really understanding how Twitter works lol

I hope we get a proper release at some point. All the magical idiosyncrasies that were missing on AWT, that make Jay such a unique and different artist are present all over this project. It’s mystical, nerdy, beautiful and cool. What could have been had we had the opportunity to hear it fresh in its final form.

This is so beautiful. Dinner At Tiffany's transition to Shiny Suit Theory actually feels real this time while on AWT it stood out like a sore thumb

Goddamn, the alternate Letter to Falon is even better, those strings that come crashing in are epic.

@Oblivion99 could you try tinkering with that one and adding it into a remaster? Think the vocals need a bit of boosting, and panning is skewed to the left.

  • Oct 4, 2020

please let this get a mastered release

    this quality is killing me

a complete album that was announced as such multiple times?

  • 4:44 came 5 years after E initially intended to release this, the perception of what an album needs to be hype is vastly different

not to mention 4:44's narratives are marketable, and anything Jay Z release is marketable. and Jay Z runs the label so he doesnt have to abide by its rules

  • Letter to Falon
    Better in Tune
    Road to Perdition

Hopefully this is a sign to labels to just let artists release s*** how they please. Let them be in control of the product they created. Not everything has to be marketed to everybody. The people who like it will listen and from there word of mouth comes into play.

I have no idea how they didn't think it would perform well if released back in 2012.

If there’s anytime that it would have been marketable and revered, 2012 would definitely be that lol I really don’t get it at all
