Would be interesting to see a list where the voting was restricted to artists that had to be below a certain popular metric (like number of RYM ratings) or something along those lines.

But im fine with Kanye being fair game in these lists because the albums/artists in the top 10 or 20 are typically far less interesting that the rest of the rankings. The real heart of the list for me is between 150-50ish. That chunk of albums reminds me of the Quietus' GOAT "best albums of the year" lists with 100+ entries with tons of stuff to discover
