"if i land" opens with Billie harmonizing over a faint pad, as it slowly builds up Kennedy comes in singing “if i land, where i fall, when i land, i’m at home” over and over again, as it continues to build up, after 1 minute hits, faint drums come in, and Billie starts to sing her verse. Halfway through it glitches out, then cuts to a new, more upbeat instrumental. Billie’s harmonies from the intro now play as a glitched out sample under a guitar as Kennedy sings about how he feels like he’s floating, and that he’s not ready to land. The song ends with him singing “when i land i hope i fall into your lap, i’m at home when i’m with you just hold my hand”
