I thought it would be fun to have a game of the decade competition similar to this YouTube series:

Basically everyone who participates nominates one game per year for 2010-2019 and the top 5 games with the most votes for each year will be chosen to compete in anonymous polls against games of the same year. Then the winner of each year will be chosen to move on to the game of the decade round. Each round would have 24 hours to vote. Initial nominations will be open for 3 days or so. Game of the decade round would consist of the winners from each year and go head to head. Not entirely sure how to do the GOTD round but I’m thinking 3 rounds going from 10->5->2 and the winner being decided from the top 2. I’m open to suggestions for GOTD rounds.

A few rules: Release year will be going by US initial Release Date. So Persona 5 is 2017 not 2016. Enchanted ports do not count. For example, Persona 4 Golden is not eligible and Mario Kart 8 must be nominated in initial release year and Deluxe can not be nominated. Complete remakes like Resident Evil 2 are fine. We will not be going by The Game Awards nomination cycle so December games count for the year they were released in. All of these rules are the same rules used in the youtube series I posted above so don’t shoot the messenger.

If people are interested in this I think it would be fun to do and we can see what game comes out as KTT’s game of the decade.
