KTTs music creatives have seen so much recent success with more and more users getting big placements

Would be awesome to see some of us break in to the TV/Film industry!

There’s so many users in this sxn I’ve seen say they’ve written, wrote, or would like to write a script. I want to use this thread for users looking for advice, inspiration, motivation, criticism.

So much of film making & writing is a collaborative process and we have a lot of knowledgeable film users on here.

I’m not suggesting you post your ideas on a public forum but those who want to join we can make this a private group through a discord or something.

Networking is key 🔑 and you’ve gotta start somewhere!

This would also be a good thread to use to recommend script writing programs, articles for beginners, and upcoming script competitions!

It’s a competitive field but the industry is in high demand for more creatives and writers especially with all these new streaming services looking to add content.

And once you finally get a few scripts you’re happy with its time to learn how to shop them around. There is a proper way to this so you stand out

Been slacking since I got out and want to finally write a full length script

I have ideas I want to write. My problem is that I go in knowing how I want it to end and get too excited to take the time to gradually get there

When it comes to beat sheets. And if you go on they site they break down the beats for a lot of films

Think this is a really great idea. It hard to find other screenwriters where I live. If anybody needs script notes let me know, I've been trying to read more scripts to help improve my own writing.

Thatd be helpful to read beat breakdowns of other movies. Do you just google “story beats of ____”?
