This is fair however we as a people get too caught up on the past at times I feel. I totally understand wanting to understand what we were and where we came from. But that's not changing what we are now.
In my opinion, the fact that we've lasted here for so long and our culture is prevalent in this country and in the world is something to take pride in. They hate us but we still here. Still Black. Knowing the past is nice, but I'm thinking about the present and tryna be great in the future
