I’m not talking about a change of heart bro. Or having a different opinion. I’m talking spineless behavior that only serves one purpose; making you and others feel better about how yourself. There’s a big and important difference between the two.

Well yeah I agree there is a lot of that especially online but you just have to take it at face value. When it’s as simple as opening up Twitter and tweeting “BLM” that level of effort coincides with the level of importance it means to the person. Like I said previously I’ve just learned to tune it out because it’s all a facade at the end of the day for looking good online

You’re right bro. My problem is seeing people that I thought were solid exposing themselves as weirdos online. S*** is kind of sad

Yeah I’m right there with you but this has become sort of a personal revelation to me as of late. I just kind of realized that these apps or platforms are designed specifically to allow people to say whatever that in turn riles people up or gets them to respond and therefore creates a cycle of being addicted to seeing who is saying what so you’ll continue to invest more time into it. These companies have a monopoly on social media and they are not designed to have our best interest in hand. I know this is kind of long and a little bit of a tangent but essentially what I’m saying is I think we could all do ourselves a favor by putting the phone down and talking to people irl because I think you’ll get a better understanding of who we all really are

100%. If not used very mindfully it shifts our behavior towards being less humane and true to ourselves. Not too long a post at all.
