critics
Honest question, what certified classic albums aren't critically acclaimed though?
I mean, is that really a criticism of a bad thing or them pointing something out? Calling a thing obtuse is different than calling a person obtuse, like TPAB is literally obtuse in that it's about a wide variety of topics compared to DAMN...

I mean, it's a nice sentiment and I don't think you should completely base your opinions on others by any means, but at the same time I don't like discrediting an entire industry of people who are well-versed in their preferred art and can articulate their opinions well. I still respects critics work even if I don't agree with their ratings because of that. It's nice to see other perspective.
In the end this is all subjective and we can say whatever we want is a "classic" but you'd be pressed not to look stupid calling something like Pump's Dropout or Logic's Supermarket classics

There’s a negative connotation to the word, there’s not only saying it covers more topics but also that it’s worse off for it
subjectively, my favorite album is tpab, followed by s80
objectively, Tpab > damn > s80 > gkmc.
And I'm saying this as a former p4k writer.

Being a p4k writer only makes your opinion less valid than others, nerd
