As popular as the "clubbed to death" fight is especially with non matrix sequel fans, it's actually not even a top 10 fight scene for me.

However, the scene right before it and leading up to it is probably one of my favorite scenes of the trilogy

Don't know how they're making a matrix 4 when there's only one matrix movie that exists but hey I'm not a Hollywood executive.

The Matrix told a perfect standalone story. It had a great heroes journey and told a story of a man realizing his importance to the world and if he should accept it or run from it.

The movie wasn't even an "action" movie it was a philosophical thinkpiece with action to help with it's message and the story it was trying to tell.

Neo's journey ended at the end of Matrix 1 when he became The One and now had the power to save the people from the Cyberworld. We don't need another one.

Reloaded and revolutions animatrix and games exist and tell more than neos story

I don't care about any of that stuff. The narrative had a perfect stopping point at the end of 1.
You talk like the matrix sequels were well recieved and told a story well liked by the general public when they're received no better than the SW prequels were in the 00's

Unless their production productivity is extremely high, yes! There’s no way they can bring the same quality of sets from the previous films and make the cgi as good. I have a feeling it’s gonna feel rushed but still a decent film

I didn't ask for that. I was fine with how Matrix ended. I've never rewatched the sequels.

You must not realize how well structured a movie Matrix 1 really is.

You know they filmed two movies back to back and that wb replaces akira with matrix 4 so are clearly investing resources into it . Film beginning of year then post production for May 2021 gives them plenty of time
