rewatching this you’re kind of right it is kind of ambiguous what happens next. but at 2:30 the architect says that those who want out will be freed. meaning this rebooted version of the matrix is no longer slavery.

That’s the scene I’m speaking of. The oracle ask the architect what would happen to “the ones that weren’t out” not “want” out. Logically, the machines would never agree to something like that as they depend on human beings for their survival.

I dont want a second of zion in this movie, was the worst part of reloaded and the main reason revolutions was total horse s*** is there was next to no time in THE MATRIX and it was just all boring space ships and robots in zion

joking but Reloaded had plenty of scenes in the matrix. Revolutions had to be set mostly in Zion so we don’t feel disconnected from it like we did in the first film.

I think the battle scenes hold up better than the final fight between Neo & Smith too.

To go from taking on an army of smiths to just a single smith with silly flying special effects was a doozy of a letdown. Kinda like the Frenchman setting up this wild "what will they do now" subplot of him wanting to exchange neo for the oracles eye...only for trinity to just steal a gun and point it at him. So lame and anticlimactic

I've never seen letdown like when I saw this movie in theaters, it was crickets at the end credits and walking out EVERYONE was clowning on it
