And that's odd to me. The Matrix is liked everywhere (at least the first). You'd think they would make something with a bit of commercial appeal instead of being controversial.

thats part of why the build a bear, dennys and some other part of campaigns I have critiqued openly. Its not about mass consumption when the movie itself examines WHAT WE MASS CONSUME AS TRUTH, GOOD or at all

But I never outright said BVS looked good or bad. If they had done a full trial that movie would have been much much much better. BVS even isnt good or bad cause much of it has wasted potential. Matrix may deal with same issues of wasted potential with so many of these excluded actors, cinematographer and composer alive breathing and writers. But I wont know til I see it

1.wouldnt be surprised the sequels were reviewed terribly and to me in some ways I like reloaded better than matrix 1 yet it still got bad reviews
2. its meta so anything meta likely to get rough reviews cause execution is difficult
3. its not really trying to appeal to mass audience
