Fact of the matter is the current actor for morpheus commands more of a salary than fishburne in 2021

I am saying often when the ORIGINAL CREATORS have to hand the baton off and well wishes to another director after 20 years how it would be viewed if wachowskis had 0 involvement

its been 20 years the point in matrix resurrections was never to me " the hand to hand fighting is going to be better than ever because Kenau is well trained and lana has been directing action movies working on craft. It was for the story that this is back"

Weakest fight was either neo VS Smith in revolutions or morpheus and Trinity shootout vs merovingians snm crew at beginning of revolutions

2. Morpheus being back when he had no plot outside of prophecy and THIS IS WIDELY IN THE FUTURE HE WAS OLD THEN. Do I think an super aged grandpa morpheus would be worth it? Why would the same morpheus walk the same neo through who he was for the same exact plot besides nostalgia
3. Weaving I understand fully and think Groff wont be the same
4. The acting doesnt look like they let it breathe as much delivery wise and she has said they did some improv especially with sunlight focus where I hope the emotion soul still there but again dont know yet

If that's the case then they shouldn't even attempted to do a scene like that for the new film. This halfhearted attempt just makes it look goofy

Most non backlava complaints/concerns I'm seeing are more valid than that.

Seeing shaky action that looks worse than a 20 year old movie made with far inferior technology is a very fair red flag, even if it's only based on limited footage

Meh as long as it makes sense and doesn't come off awkward/forced

I mean even the force push explosion thing seems to be a move to avoid some hand to hand combat or going too deep into it. But again Lana isnt an action director like that s*** nor was lilly nor were those my personal favorite parts of trilogy, cloud atlas or sense8 but I understand if someone is there for ground breaking action and camera angles that this looks like s***

Thats valid. Not the biggest fan of them fighting them in Club Hel either but I can understand how people can be underwhelmed with Smith vs Neo. As I got older the action scenes themselves felt less important to me. I revisit matrix for the dialogue and interpretations. Neo vs Smith is my favorite fight out of the 2 sequels but again I understand why someone else would be kinda put off

Yahya b**** slapping Neo towards the end of that clip is killing me
Even the soundtrack is garbage

Neo becoming the one and fighting like a computer at the end of 1 basically set the tone for what was to come
