I’ve seen 15 million. I’ve actually seen the first season a while ago being it was only like 3 episodes

whoever suggested the metalhead episode out of all the episodes doesn't get it . Metalheads is the most on the nose episode. It does improve within the context. Because that season actually does have some connecting episodes and references. I would just say go in order from beginning because others did based on how they released. Helps you see varying quality. First episode again is not the tone of the show so that one is slightly skippable if any are.

Lana definitely wanted a lower budget digital look for this film (it was partially filmed by John Toll cmon lol) and it think it works. Not only does it give it this hyperreal quality but it's also just another f*** you to the studio and nostalgia driven man babies. Look at Speed Racer, Jupiter Ascending or Cloud Atlas if you think she needs Bill Pope to execute her vision.

She was originally going to use Bill Pope til he had a covid scare in the family . The film nearly stopped at that point. Like I get what you are saying but I think part of her vision was giving us Bill Pope again

was she? pretty sure they had a falling out but even if he was brought in for the film it probably would've had the same Sense8 look to it.

I definitely feel some of resurrections story was crafted with the idea that so many people said "first one the best the sequels are bad". It definitely pokes at them a lot
