This thread for most part was jokes, from baklava strange activities to the ragers like bane and mango, or that synopsis guy who showed Moonlight to his classroom

there was some insane things said in this thread and spoiler thread . Those that talk to humans with respect I will always respect. Whether someone hated or loved this movie I dont care lol. I made fun of the strawberry scene and much of Kenau acting is trash that worked better 20 years ago. I wish he was just himself in this movie like I wish they went all the way meta and he was like Kenau reeves dealing with paparazzi of being famous from the Matrix movies in some ways it seems like she half stepped that. I do wonder how much better the movie would be with her sisters help and bill pope

but its okay to realize the world will never know. Movie nearly got cancelled because of covid. Glad she got to drop what will likely be her final piece of art ever. That was her goodbye

Cloud Atlas was a better matrix movie than this and I have said that. Cloud Atlas in imax slapped

any artist I care about any part of their career could drop a 0% movie everyone hates but if its likely their final movie before deaath imma see it lol

but on topic neo and trinity getting to the end having the opportunity to shutdown the matrix and choosing not to in many ways makes them villains too.

this is one of the major flaws of the entire series. The fact that the Wachowskis are never clear about whether The Matrix is bad or not and Neo & Trinity becoming reformists in the end just makes it worse. I still love these movies despite the lib politics and fetishy race stuff.

they aren't really reformist in the final scene they ask what they will change about the matrix and they essentially say not much will change . similiar to a president. They still will maintain the matrix rather than let it go. Because they met in it and they fear without it they are nothing. They only were able to cope with it when they lost their memories.

I think that says a lot. Man was about to kill himself when he didn't know the truth. They are both Gods at the end of the movie. They could unplug everyone and they choose not to. I think the ending is kind of sadder than people think.

was great in IMAX the transitions really something . I loved it. But to each their own always I get someone hating it.

I liked the ending of the 3rd one cause it gave everyone the choice on wether to stay in the Matrix or leave it. It leaves it ambiguous but it's clear that most humans will be like Cypher in the first film. Wake up then immediately want to return to the Matrix after seeing how s*** the situation is for humans on Earth
