I don't see how someone can watch an ending where they maliciously beat Smith (as he repairs over and over) which they have never done anything like and not see a bit of sadistic ness in them .

Again obviously effects and action here lacks. I said that immediately from first watch but the symbology of a lot including people being activated by a tv and devices to jump to their death to protect the sense of complacency

But it totally makes sense why this installment doesn’t have it or need to have it

The movies focus was more on non violence with the corny force push in many ways. Again I can list so many cons with movie

-having her sister would have helped

• feels more sense 8 than Matrix
  -no bill pope
  -No Hugo Weaving
  -Much of Zion part including strawberry corny
  -some bad acting by kenau
• Could have hit audience in a more potent way with the meta narrative about fans even though I got it many of them still dont get it or see its value
• final plot to rescue trinity so much Jargon likely on purpose in some ways lol but still

But I can still enjoy the movie for what it is and not act like a movie existing is the end of the world because I am a grown man
