China doesn't have to spend as much when they can get workers for pennies compared to us

Hope not. Because they spend about 1/3 of what the US spends

Okay, but what's going to stop the democratically appointed council from abusing their power ?

And what's going to happen to corporations afterwards and how is the state going to be involved

Because the council will be responsible to the ppl in the community?

On what basis are entrepreneurs are the driving force of innovation? your problem is you enjoy regurgitating vomit out conservative slogans?
"Not real capitalism" "Entrepreneurs drive innovation" "In an open market, anyone... (a daft statement)"

On what basis can anyone think, develop, fine tune, produce, and distribute a product? capitalists literally copyrighted the human genome at one point in time. which segues perfectly into this thread and the inherent flaws in private property

it’s not conservative talking points, it’s economic theory talking points.

entrepreneurs do drive innovation, it’s like, if you have 300+ million people who can, at any point in time, think of any kind of product or innovation, then you have a way better chance of coming up with something great as opposed to 10-20 people in higher governmental positions.

and people can definitely think of and develop a product at any point in time, and even distribute individually if they sell independently (create their own website, advertise, sell product off of it)

the only issue is, when they get bigger, than yes, they will most likely need capital investment from investors, or find a distributor, but no matter what, they are still able to do any of that. And it’s a product, they, the individual created. Not some government idea

And then let’s say they hit it big and expand, then they hire employees, and boom, you’ve just created x amount of jobs for people.

in order for an economy to sustain realistically, you need jobs to constantly be created. the government, as one entity, simply cannot handle the jobs for 300+ million people

edit; as a matter of fact, as a socialist or communist, you should welcome entrepreneurship/ innovation, because as schumpeter said, capitalism is too efficient. constant innovations will cause it to destroy itself, leading to socialism (which he did not what to happen but that’s besides the point lol)

I completely understand your argument now.

Switzerland and Finland have by far the best quality of life in the world with the best government programs and benefits

No one in any reality would call them the #1 country in the world right? Everyone says its either America or China.

Sure. They are literally running Africa into a huge debt pool currently that they will not be able to get out of. Their work for the middle east and africa is in part why they are freely torturing Uyghur muslims in their country and none of them are protesting against it because they are bought by China.

China's TikTok platform also clearly is contributing towards being a spying platform from China to the rest of the world

So the US milktaru should charge the Tik Tok offices

The government has been doing that actually. We fined them $5 billion last year on account of what i was talking about. And they are being policed even harder now by the government.

    Just vote them out

the idea is for both states and corporations to become redudant and thus obsolete, but that's a long way away

I would call Switzerland the best place in the world to live along with Singapore

I’m not sure what else should constitute being a #1 country

The #1 country in my opinion is the country we should all look towards in influencing the world the most. And I would say that is either the US or China right now. Switzerland and Finland gets to be what they are because of our protection.

Because $5 billion isn't enough against China, a country worth trillions. Ultimately though, our actions against China have been working in that their economy has taken huge hits since we hit em with tariffs. But their ability to hire people for pennies is still going to be a huge advantage in how much they have developed and even surpassed us in.

What I'm saying is what is going to stop the community from devolving to what he have here ?

Because this structure implies that there is a means of production without corporations, what is that means?

Explain to me how the Soviet Union was the most technologically advanced country then, Mr. Venture Capital Who Knows Economics

    Always #2 to America

Central Planning from the government always leads to people cooking the books to make sure they hit their quotas or be sent to the gulags. Happened in the USSR and in China under Mao.

Also look where Russia is now. A third world country in disguise.
