I find it so funny as to why people think that state funded living/survival is even remotely a possibility before the next industrial revolution. You will not get people to peacefully submit to these ideas. That’s why this s*** always ends in violent revolutions.

The majority of people are not going to conform to a program where people decide that they don’t want to work for the pure sake of not wanting to work and still enjoy the luxuries that are proper healthcare, clean food and water, and sufficient shelter.

Why do you guys pretend that such a society can not only exist but also be simultaneously productive and innovative?

Yall pretend like these billionaires only make revolutionary ideas not to change the world but to make profit, while blatantly ignoring the fact that the labor force of these corporations also doesn’t give a f*** about changing the world and only care about the profit that will put food on their family’s table. This idea that profit in capitalism is the driving force of corruption and malpractice is literally useless. Profit seeking is absolutely necessary from both employers and employees for any idea to actually materialize. Not everybody is willing to put in physical work for “the greater good” and people are not going to want to innovate technology if they can’t make profit off their ideas. I understand that morally intellectual property may not be worth the billions that it can be valued at in the 21st century, but IP is worth something. Obviously people are going to want to make profit, and they should be allowed to.

What kind of argument is “abolish landlords”

That way you don’t have people all in here confused asking simple questions you refuse to answer such as “so no apartments?”

Also criminalizing rent wouldn’t even help the lower and middle class. Property values wouldn’t even go down like that people are gonna be trynna profit off housing like never before if this happened.

Can you imagine the entire real estate industry if rent became illegal. You think all these home owners are just gonna be down with selling these homes they expected to make decades of return on for a slightly higher price than what it cost to make? I know that’s what you’d like them to do, but let’s be realistic.

Why do you people hate the rich so much?

If you become wealthy/successful in life, is one expected to look in the mirror and hate themselves too?

Hoarding wealth is immoral and a direct symptom of poverty. Why would anyone ever NEED a billion dollars? What can you possibly do with that amount of money? Meanwhile almost a billion people are living in extreme poverty, it just makes no sense. Living luxurious is understandable but it gets to a point where it's just plain idiotic and avaricious, no?

It's frustrating because a collective effort from billionaires could easily end things like homelessness in America while still remaining extremely wealthy themselves. Money to the elite isn't the same as money for the average proletariat who needs to work for their survival. It's literally just a d*** swinging contest. That's what the current model of Capitalism has done, encouraged greed and pit humans against each other in a "every man for himself" type scenario.
