7.5 for Blue Lips... I think it should be lower. But Sunshine Kitty is a solid 9/10. Have you heard it?

TRAPPED IN THE CLOSET BY R KELLY
So I made it to 22 episodes before giving up. But it wasnt all bad. It starts out very strong. The music was great. The twists and turns had me hooked. The first evening, with the help of my good friends gin & tonic, I watched like 14 episodes. And it was funny. I was laughing a lot of the time. Also this is kinda sad, but I remembered this was one of the first lgbtq+ representation Ive ever seen on screen when it came out. What surprised me the most is that I still remembered some of the lyrics. “well well well what the f*** is this? A condom in my bed?” is iconic to this day. After the 6th episode, the music takes a backseat, the instrumental is just the same simple piano riff with some snapping and the rhymes not even impressive anymore. The end of episode 9 with the midget in the cabinet was another high point. It was all wrong but I couldn’t stop laughing. After that, the whole thing turns into a Tyler Perry mess, uninteresting side characters, lots of fillers, church shenanigans, R Kelly in an old person bodysuit and makeup etc...
5/10

definitely one of the best albums this year, going straight into my top 2

@lil_clam you made a typo. Im All Ears by Lets Eat Grandma is a 9, heck a 10 because it’s still fresh.

7.5/10
Favs: Crown of Love, Neighborhood #1 (Tunnels), Haïti
great debut and visual concept, the whole album flows beautifully
Lou Reed - Berlin
i’d expected what i’d hear out of this album based on the title alone, the Berlin Wall. lou is very somber in the title track, so i’d expect it to be an album perfect for relaxation. he’s always had an unconventional voice, so you’d either love it or hate it, thankfully i’m in the the former. really like the instrumentation too. great album for sure, captivates berlin quite well imo.
8/10
not necessarily any lowlights here, but i’d wish lou gave in more throughout the album.
Did Cats put u on the Deathspell record
nah i listened before but it grew on me after like a year
