He's got alot of stunners but Ugetsu definitely his opus. Most classic story, pulverizing conclusion, fanciest camerawork and the mystical element pushes it into my top 20 for sure

Now this joint here is a clossic I dont know if it was the heat, beers, or testosterone but when those coins flipped up total madness took control

watched Alien Resurrection last night and holy s*** the movie was f***ing s***, Alien 1,2,3 blow that s*** out of the water

moneys on the art house French director being like f*** this alien nerd s*** bout to tank this franchise

i had a tough time watching the 3rd one but my god the 3rd alien is light years ahead of Resurrection, that movie is just a cheap gimmick, and like wtf did they do to Ripley? never watching that movie again

wild how alien 3 was universally hated then this movie was like lol hold my beer

movies before felt a little grounded but then this movie jumps the shark with everything. All the clone stuff, weird humor, new alien prototype. I remember thinking at least the aliens looked good in this but rewatched some clips

its essentially the Jason X of the Alien series

highly recommend watching Alien and then going straight into Aliens

Wasn't the biggest fan of the story, but this is one of the most beautifully photographed films ever. Müller went absolutely crazy on this one. The latest release is incredible.
