But those drawings went hard, especially with the music
Most uncomfortable I've been during a movie and actually had a nightmare similar to the climax that night.

lol this movie was pretty mid the ending was hilarious how they just wrapped everything up so perfectly loll

Aquarius (2016) 4.5/5. Holy s*** watch this movie. Same director as Bacurau (2019)
Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates (2016) 3/5. Definitely funny. Sorta like a new age Wedding Crashers.
Closer to the Moon (2013) 3.5/5. Perfectly entertaining
Man on Fire (2004) 5/5. Classic
Ready Player One (2018) 1.5/5. Idk how people fall for these types of movies. All they do is bait nostalgia
Liar Liar (1997) 4/5. One of my favorites as a child, even better as an adult. Movies like this don’t exist anymore really
Hypernormalisation (2016) 5/5. Informative, interesting, important
Avatar (2009) 1/5. Would have been more interesting just making it based on real life

Really need to rewatch this. Been ages
Haven't posted in a couple weeks, but yesterday I watched both one of the best and one of the worst films ever and thought that was sort of interesting
Viridiana (1961) 10
This exact moment was where my brain snapped and I thought, wait, there's something pretty 'off' about this film. I hadn't seen a full length movie by Bunuel since giving the Exterminating Angel a try years back- now, I'll have to rewatch that and give 7 or 8 other films of his a go, because this was quite stunning. Hilarious, disturbing, and I loved the editing rhythm. Everything goes along quite naturally and is easy to follow, but then the camera will unexpectedly linger at an odd but precise angle, or cut to something that quietly alerts you this ominous atmosphere that pervades the film. Very excited to see more by the director.
The Comedy (2012) 0.5
I remember adding this to my watch list after some user on here had it included in their top 5/10 or so. I absolutely hate ironic criticisms of irony. This film seems to embody the very concept it seeks to denounce, which is also, I'd imagine, the point, but that sort of no-nuance self-aware posturing can pretty much f*** off imo. Well, sometimes I'm alright with it if there are other ideas being presented with skill, but this movie struck me as being pretty empty, and actively aware of its emptiness. And that was mostly it (plus some manipulatively moody music). Not a fan
