Three O Clock High

6/10
incredible flick
it really was, it's probably gonna jump up to a 9 once i finish processing it. but i loved how the story was depicted and executed on screen.
Just watched Burning(2018). S*** left me in shambles. The surreal ambiguity of it all made me feel somewhat unsatisfied toward the end but I think that was pretty much the whole point. I just want to know what exactly happened to hei mei man

She dead
Enjoyed this a lot. Fantastic acting all around, and the movie itself looks great. This is some of Thelma Schoonmakers best work. I didn't love the climax, but really liked the way the film got there. Also the title cards were great. Highly recommended.
She dead
But her parents said she had to leave because of her credit card debt? I'm mad confused. Do they make it explicitly clear that she was killed?

Nah its def not clear but one interpretation is that Yeuns character is a serial killer, implied by the drawer with the girls watch as well as other female ones (I think I saw it a little while ago)

She left because of all those debts, its the reason she is a target and that guy explained it with the warehouses, she us unwanted, nobody will notice since nobody cares or likes her
Shutter Island 9.5
Aquarius (2016) 4.5/5. Holy s*** watch this movie. Same director as Bacurau (2019)
Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates (2016) 3/5. Definitely funny. Sorta like a new age Wedding Crashers.
Closer to the Moon (2013) 3.5/5. Perfectly entertaining
Man on Fire (2004) 5/5. Classic
Ready Player One (2018) 1.5/5. Idk how people fall for these types of movies. All they do is bait nostalgia
Liar Liar (1997) 4/5. One of my favorites as a child, even better as an adult. Movies like this don’t exist anymore really
Hypernormalisation (2016) 5/5. Informative, interesting, important
Avatar (2009) 1/5. Would have been more interesting just making it based on real life
Liar Liar is a classic
