I want to see this so badly but im always scared to put it on because it might hit home a little too hard. Maybe a weird question but do you struggle with depression and if so how tuff was it to watch this?

Also for some reasons big cosmic s*** like planets colliding has always been interesting af to me and i feel like this is the only film ever about that another reason to watch this

maybe i should just say f*** it and go watch it tonight. I just never feel ready enough for a film that i've heard is emotionally draining if you are depressed and anxious yourself

You’ve probably heard about it by now, but the new restoration for Criterion is available as a virtual screening. It’s stunning

    Can’t wait for the blu-ray

Nah I haven't struggled with depression before. I do think the movie can overwhelm someone that's experiencing it. If depression's a thing of the past for you though then I would encourage you to watch it. Could still be a bit overwhelming but still watchable and would add more value to the movie for you. The planets colliding thing was new to me and cool. Lars von Trier honestly top 3

Fantastic sequel. Keeps the same feel as the original and adds some some new characters, and some predictable (not in a bad way) twists. Also the gore is even crazier than the first. Really love these two movies.
