I watched La Notte last night and it was an amazing experience bc it was the first Antonioni that I truly enjoyed without feeling withheld from the experience. But it also didn’t feel quite like a Antonioni film, more like a depressed Fellini.

I also watched Shin Godzilla, which was unfortunately sorta horrid aside from a couple visuals for the monster

Hell or High Water is such an underrated gem imo.

Taylor Sheridan f***ing kills it in the writing department. Sicario, Sicario 2, Hell or High Water, Wind River.

All excellent movies. He did great with Wind River and I hear Yellowstone is really good.

Hope this guy stays in the game for a long time and continues on his directing route.

Enough people have told me that Hell or High Water is underrated that it is definitely overrated now. No Country lite.

Don't have much to say about private ryan pretty great film.

1917 some of the best editing ive seen in film. The Constant 1-shot was beautiful and made the story feel so much more realistic.
