you like surrealism? There's a lot of films are quite similar to that. As in like some acid trip.
Another work from the same director is the The Saragossa Manuscript.

that whole Lufthansa hostage backdrop was mad annoying and pointless, plus that whole slow-motion, red filter ending was awkward af but other than that it was great!

good movie. direct sequel to godzilla vs mechagodzilla and last of showa era of godzilla movies. kinda like back to basics movie, not as goofy as the few previous godzilla flicks, kinda gritty. there was love story between cyborg woman and human, aliens trying to conquer earth (which is typical plot in godzilla movies lol) and great monster fights at the end. godzilla had to fight two enemies by himself, mechagodzilla and titanosaurus who can make powerful winds with his tail.

The OGIt's dope. Similar premise and relationship conflict with the main character revisiting moments from the past involving his ex-girlfriend. But the setup and outcome differ a bit from Eternal Sunshine. Really great film

so this rodan movie is cool, i liked the beginning better with those giant killer insects than actual rodan parts, but pretty cool movie anyway

And ZDT is a deeply cynical film about the Osama hunt as well
I get that there are a lot of pro America propaganda out there (especially a lot of the MCU and even stuff like Lone Survivor), but those 2 you named aren’t good examples

this blew me away when i saw it. masterful use of edit to establish time and space. all those memories flashing by, repeated and non-chronological. perhaps even to some extent made up/dreams instead of reality
