Great Day in the Morning is a Tourneur western. The rest of them are shorts by the Safdie bros

Hotrod - 2007
Honestly didn't think it was that funny. A little too dumb.
Still enjoyable though with this great scene:

Seen Amour to wrap up my time w Haneke, and what a way to close that era out! If there’s any flaw it’s the sparse, even weak, use of Isabelle Humpert (who I now love after seeing Piano Teacher and Elle - need some more stuff w her). But yea, that movie f***ed me up in typical Haneke fashion, but surprisingly did not leave me feeling violated, like his other stuff. So, I appreciated that on his part. Very kind

Absolutely loved it. It’s a truly bleak movie with no payoff or cheap gimmick.

He's good as usual, but I liked his performance in The Woman in the Window (Lang, 1944) better. (Same goes for the film in general.)
I also like the OG version of Scarlet Street a decent bit more too, though Lang's film does a serviceable job of separating itself from Renoir's in certain areas.
I'm kinda nervous to watch Lang's Human Desire now after feeling that now, haha. I planned on watching it next — and while La Bete Humaine isn't one of my favorite Renoir films, I'm less hopeful about Lang using the source material as effectively as Renoir did.
