Yessir kept seeing it recommended & finally checked it out, the ending was sick but very realistic to what a man would do in that situation IMO
Need some more psychological thriller bangers

Makes me wanna watch it again honestly😂
If you haven’t seen it already watch Prisoners it’s directed by Denis Villeneuve. Literally so f***ing good that’s probably a top 5 movie for me easily.

I think a review from letterboxd does it justice, its like crying without knowing why youre crying. Initially its super overwhelming right, theres this massive family with so many characters you have to pay attention to then it slowly narrows its focus to a few mains. It felt so personal and intimate like you were really living life with these people and you pick up on their quirks and idiosyncracies. For a movie 3+ hours long it really flies by and I never lost interest. Super good! And the final few scenes are just gut wrenching.
Ostensibly its just about a few generations of a family in Taiwan, you watch a guy get married, a young girl navigate school and her burgeoning dating life, a young boy who photogrqphs people, a father whos trying to close a business deal while messing with an old flame. On the surface it seems so boring to just rocus on this family but its so passionate and moving and god I cant stop thinking about it, a def 5/5 for me and a must watch
Watched Léon: The Professional yesterday
Was surprised when I found out that the little girl was Natalie Portman
Batman: Mask of the Phantasm
Batman: The Long Halloween Part 1 and 2. This was great. The animation and voices were nice. Troy Baker was clearly ripping off Mark Hamill, but it was so well done that it’s not even a complaint.
And the story is still better than all the other Batman works that take heavy inspiration from it.
Jurassic World: Dominion.
It was awful, probably one of the worst if not worst film I’ve seen all year.
phantom thread deserves a 5 star rating i’m so sorry you’ve made that mistake
but i’m glad i’m not the only one who thinks serpico is average at best
just seen Under the Silver Lake
wtf
