6/10
was fine, had some funny moments, but definitely felt like a smaller budget netflix comedy.
Just watched Prisoners dammmm
Got a question though, why doesnt jake realize that maze chain he finds in that priests basement and the drawings that guy was doing?

Expected it to be a bit dryer than it ended up being, but legitimately great thriller and maybe my favorite Matt Damon performance.
Also goddamn, young Jude Law is one beautiful man.
Knives out 3.5/5
Glass onion 3/5
You people 3/5 the kufi scene>
Babylon 4/5
Whiplash 5/5
First man 3.5/5
Seven 4.5/5
Uncut gems 3.5/5

Still an incredible movie.
Visually it’s aged significantly, but goddamn, the writing, performances and visual gags are just immaculate.
Still Pixar’s best imo. They came out the gate SWINGING.

Beautiful and so endearing. If you need an introduction to magical realism, this is it. I wasn't too sold on the acting, but I can't hate because they're just trying to match Laura Esquivel's melodramatic prose which is everything and I'm obsessed with every adaptation of this novel. I can't wait to see it in the form of ballet this year.

This lost me, the characters weren't really all that enthralling to follow and keep up with.
