the creator what i liked about the movie it makes you think a lot

just making my way through the classics I haven't seen. I loved High and Low. I think the thing I keep thinking about is the portrayal of the police. They're smart, friendly, diligent cops who care about doing their job. How you wish all cops were like in real life. That scene where they're just compiling evidence was so cool to me.

Hell or High Water and it was pretty damn good nice short and sweet story

this movie hits pretty hard as someone who had to experience Alzheimer's taking over their grandparent. It is heart-wrenching, but at the same time, after reading some other thoughts, I could see why someone might think it's gratuitous in some ways.

Has anyone seen Rustin? Another biopic but Colman Domingo getting Oscar buzz for it. Might check it out tomorrow

UPDATE: was cool to learn about a historical figure who I was unaware of before watching. Crazy how he played a big role in an iconic event and they tried to erase him from it but movie was just ok imo. Colman was great in the role though

Got wayyy too wasted over the weekend and woke up hungover to find out I had covid and it had just set in, so spent the next day and a half not being able to sleep and watching s***.
