I just recently decided to dive into his stuff cause I got Arrow's "Guitry Four Films" set this past Christmas, and Criterion Chan has 5 others available in their "Directed by Sacha Guitry" playlist.

The few I've watched so far have been great

story of a cheat was amazing and the storytelling so damn engaging

La Poison is such a comical film for its subject too. those are the only two films i've seen so far.

judging from these two, it's quite refresing for its age since american films had to follow the hays code while these deal with immorality as something more positive and that crime could pay
