CLB has some fun enjoyable music (I personally think the album is about a 7/10), but it's so far removed from the top tier of music and last night's performance proved it.
If CLB was an excellent or classic level album it wouldn't have felt so overshadowed during the show. He played the biggest songs on the album but they fell flat because they came next to a bunch of songs that DO fall into that top tier.
mans played some of my favorite songs off CLB and his vocals were great
last night proves that people gonna hate on drake for anything and everything
To be fair though, and I think it's a fair point to make, this was Kanye's show, and Drake was the guest.
For people to expect Drake to be going through the whole discog is kinda on you. (Not gonna lie though, I would've preferred some of his classics to CLB).

and I get that, but if CLB was classic level like people claimed it would have rang off just like kanye's s***

Kinda facts tho, the DONDA tracks were going harder than CLB imo.
I mean that should have been confirmed on first listen but to be fair to CLB even if it was a better album it still probably wouldn’t compete against Kanye playing his greatest hits. Very unfair advantage.
Idk why Drake didnt do his classics. Would make more sense considering Ye did it (also cause he cant remember Donda lyrics lol)
God's Plan
Jumpman
HOWG
Marvins Room
Forever
Something like that wouldve been enough
7/10 is p good tbh, I think people will appreciate it more over time tbh and some of those other songs have the added benefit of nostalgia
I see what you mean though

Drake doing 24 was magic
Comparing classic Kanye songs to CLB deep cuts lol. You might be right but last night shouldn’t be any indication.
There were def better songs off clb than what he played obviously, but those are the hits from it. Rather than confirm clb is nothing special I think last night really showed us how music has changed in a decade, that the hits now aren’t as good as the hits then (but that will always be subjective bc Kanye’s hits have mad nostalgia for a certain age group)

You're a bumbling buffoon comparing 10-14 year old songs that are some of his Kanye's best songs to songs that are barely 3 months old.
Drake also played two songs where he has to be silent and let the crowd rap most of the song for him because the featured artist has more of a presence on them. CLB just has some terrible performance songs and the ones that are way better for performances like Laugh Now Cry Later and What’s Next for some reason aren’t on the album. CLB era a whole mess.
