mr get doughI honestly feel like Kanye having a couple beats on his album could be cool, but him locking in with Kanye for an entire album would lead to a less varied album than any of his other albums. Works perfectly for Push but Kendrick is way too varied of a rapper for just one producer, even Ye himself doesnāt just use one producer.
Sidenote its no way he had 40 finished songs w kendrick š but kendrick did try some stuff out to all day so who knows what they had in that vault

some. but its at a much smaller scale. tpab influence the last bowie album but ye has changed the musical palette of all popular music a few point

but s*** kanye was able to make an album like Be for Common with it sounding varied i'd still say he could've made it work at one point

WOOPDEYSCOOPBut itās not a short attention span. younger artists only have such a small amount of time to make an impression and people are too busy with their lives to keep tabs on them. Unless that single is the most fire s*** of all time. I would have been more prone to listen to that album that was being promoted if it was already out.

but kendrick on an album full of ye soul samples would be fire af. the two greatest artists of my lifetime making an album together? why wouldn't that be fire? they'd have good synergy together.
plus kanye's tweeted about them having 40 tracks together so why not revisit that.

I donāt want a Kendrick album like Be, maybe when heās older. Be is a great album, so is Daytona and I think Common and Push are the kind of rappers that compliments but on a Kendrick album Iād be very disappointed with a focus grouped sound like that.
I think the beats on Be and Daytona all sound different from each other but clearly are coming from the same source (besides the Dilla beats on Be) which isnāt a bad thing at all because all the beats are incredible and it leaves Push and Common the floor to fully express themselves as rappers
But Kendrick is an artist who I want to hear over vastly different sounding production I want to go from a Wesleyās Theory to a Hood Politics, or a DNA. to a LUST. in the same album and I donāt think one producer is providing that drastic of a difference. Iād just be disappointed with that this early in his career, but maybe when heās more settled into where he is and not on the climb still thatād be great to hear him do something a bit more focused production wise
