I think it’s cause we’re spoiled at this point with Kendrick I think that. Like GKMC is a textbook god level debut rap album. TPAB is soul woke rap masterpiece, damn was the best possible mainstream rap album, I hope with this album he truly just goes experimental cause I really ain’t wait 5 years for tpab pt 2 u know what I mean?

gnarlynastyMaybe that’s why this album took so long,Kendrick been doing some historian like research on important black figures(and maybe few white dudes)and he’s trying to guide us through these peoples thought processes,whether good or bad.

If he’s rapping from perspectives,this album is definitely about cause and effects. I just can’t see the whole album being from famous peoples perspective. He’s definitely gonna rap from a poor mans,trans person,racist person outlook. Wouldn’t be surprised if he barely raps from many celebrity outlooks at all.
