Okay after revisiting DAMN, playing it through headphones made me appreciate the album more. Hearing the small details in the production, being more focused on the lyrics, and hearing how the album weaves together made me come to the realizationā¦itās actually a dope record
Side note: I think DUCKWORTH might be my fav outro of his, love how big and wide the mix sounds, 9th wonder killed it, and love the rewinding effect towards the end lol

If it hits friday then music is supposed to be out. I have a friend who has their spotify account locatio set to Taiwan and is listening to new releases every thursday morning cause of that.

The stuff that isnāt that good isnāt that good. But the stuff thatās amazing is some of his best work. So it balances out.

TubigI started having some health issues, and I was starting to see more how my behavior was affecting some people around me. Really I shouldāve been fired from my job due to attendance but thank god I was good at what I did.
I had tried to take breaks and quit before but what finally helped me quit was being honest and open with my friend groups, and they gave me so much support that I wanted to stay clean for all of them, because I wasnāt going to do it just for myself since I didnāt care for myself at the time.
Wow thatās love that your friend groups supported you along the way. Canāt imagine how hard it mustāve been to turn it all around but you did. Happy for you you bro

Nah man, there are some albums that work like that but for lots of artists they usually do global releases and the album is out at midnight est everywhere

Humble is annoying and Loyalty is whatever, but man songs like DNA, Fear, XXX, Lust, and Duckworth are just amazing
Something I noticedā¦it appears throughout the album it alternates between mainstream and traditional type Kendrick songs
