FOR A CENTURY?
people overreact like crazy in these threads
Man i cant believe this album is so f***ing WILD
Just admit itās some s***
far from it
This whole album is about accountability.
Specifically Kendrick holding himself accountable through the lens of everything he has experienced (ie the perspectives).
Pretty well executed concept.
This is album of the year.
This was incredible. I still canāt get over We Cry Together. My only complaint is it could be shorter. Feel like there are some songs that could of been removed but overall Kendrick did it again. He really did.
I feel a bit bittersweet didnāt want it to end ⦠I f***ed with it but definitely need some time to process but
cant wait for the controversy
This cover makes a lot of sense. You can tell he made this for Whitney more than the fans.
It's times it gets damn near uncomfortable how personal some of these tracks get (e.g. fetish bars hit me like a pile of bricks early on in the album, I didn't look at the tracklist so I dont know what it's called but it's right at the top of the album) But like Mick Jenkins once said: "if your comfort aint pivoting you aint listening right."
I'ma come with an actual full review once I listen some more @op

So youāre trans?
Wrapped up my listen.
Great album, not sure if I'm convinced it's better than GKMC but certainly a strong contender in his discog.
Overall album reminds me a lot of 3.15.20 by Gambino and TLOP
i donāt normally say this but i really donāt think non black people will understand this album and some of the topics being presented
u black?
Everything is corny when you suppress your emotions.
I'm gonna keep it 100% real, off the first listen I feel this is weaker than all 3 of his studio albums.
