D*** riding meme is dead
Aināt a meme nigga
Done the first listen and honestly this is his worst project by a mile. I didnāt like TPAB but I still consider it a 7 because Kendrick is a GOAT-level artist no matter what he does you cannot deny the talent.
This however was hard to listen to. Itās not hard to listen to because itās personal. Itās hard to listen to because sonically itās not pleasant and even the meaning is too plain stated. Thereās not one metaphorical song on this that stacks up to a song like How much a Dollar cost.
I think this is the album where even his hardcore fans start to see what people have been saying about his previous albums. This one was just off the rails.
bad take sorry
Can see this potential getting panned for being too challenging
this is gonna have 90+ meta critic by Saturday
easily better than damn, maybe better than the other ones, need time to see
Same here

Lots of subtle nuance to this album, not for the casuals. Its complex, yet incredibly open-ended. One of the most subtle albums I've heard in recent years.
Itās always frustrating when thereās just that one track that donāt hit lol.
Is there ever a point when Twitter isn't offended by something dumb?
Album has strong In Rainbows vibes
Mother I Sober might be the most emotional song in Hip Hop history.
I don't understand. I feel like I'm listening to something completely different than y'all.
No it wasnāt? It is very aligned with the sound of this album lol
He even did another similar song when he talked drake and Kanye⦠two grown men with divorced daddy issues.
Iād bet drake takes daddy issues as a diss, but I heard Allen Hughes say the same about tupac on Nas podcast and itās some real s*** if it comes from love
i'm saying the instrumental sound, not the lyrical content
Putting the Blxst song (shout out KTT's own) after Worldwide Steppers is whiplash inducing
song of the summer
Father Time and Mother I Sober are just quintessential Kendrick. top notch writing.
We Cry Together is just kinda too on the nose for repeated listening imo and Crown felt too self-indulgent and fame referential.
but those are just early thoughts. super compelling first listen.
Kendrick is a rapist apologist
that sucks
this album sucks
We cry together, purple hearts and auntir diaries are the worst tracks on the album and maybe the worst tracks mfer has made
