Yall f***ing with that Alchemist beat? I feel like the vocal performances was brilliant but im not sure if thats the best beat Kendrick could have picked tbh
it's flames
verse 3 on mirrors right?
Yep..
Cause all of us toxic
Girl, I'm not relevant to givin' on profit
Personal gain off my pain, it's nonsense
Darlin' my demons is off the leash for a moshpit
Baby, I just had a baby, you know she need me
Workin' on myself, the counselin' is not easy
Don't you point a finger, just to point a finger
'Cause critical thinkin' is a deal-breaker
Faith in one man is a ship sinking
Do yourself a favor and get a mirror that mirror grievance
Then point it at me so the reflection can mirror freedom
She told me she need me the most, I didn't believe her
She even called me names on the post, the world can see it
Jokes and gaslightin'
Mad at me 'cause she didn't get my vote, she say I'm triflin'
Disregardin' the way that I cope with my own vices
Maybe it's time to break it off
Run away from the culture to follow my heart
Can’t get a gauge on this from your comments. Can’t listen for a few hours - is it hitting?
i wasn't able to gauge from the comments either, which is rare these days
but its a testament to how various the record is, in subject matter, quality, and sounds
whether you like it or not, isn't the question. is it worth a listen? absolutely ! its kendrick, it's quality, and you'll at least have 3/4 tracks you'll return to consistently, 2 tracks that you'll like and not play again, and one that you'll be asking "how did this make it on here?!"
the pacing on this one is v sober so far. i dont wanna say meandering, but i feel like it kinda wanders between thoughts and ideas in an organic way. i like it, but i'm honestly not motivated to listen to the first disc as one album. maybe the second disc, but the first disc, i'll just stick the songs i like

Die Hard is peak pop Kendrick
Though I honestly was expecting Roddy Rich having a feat, he would’ve fit perfectly
I dont think anyone has it processed yet one way or another but u can tell if u rlly like it or dislike it initially
But opinions can change especially on an album like this
Yeah I said this before and the nigga said it was bs
even now the album is growin on me after I initially said its his worst
Cole really took the NoName s*** to heart
Kendrick seems like he saw that and was like
He chose himself
After TPAB backlash I would’ve too.
Cole really took the NoName s*** to heart
Kendrick seems like he saw that and was like
