I can. I think it’s a fantastic album.the verdict is still out on whether it trumps GKMC for me, however the album reminds me a lot of 3.15.20 by Gambino or Yeezus/TLOP from Ye, with the point of reference being how much of a departure it is from his previous work whilst still being pleasantly familiar by way of bringing the totality of what they’ve done before to the table.
The lyrical content will naturally generate enough discourse to be talked about for awhile. Opinions will be across the spectrum as you alluded to.
This album could get panned and I’d be comfortable saying Kendrick is in that top 5 conversation on the strength of his discog.
