I don't even like half of YEEZUS and I would say it's not the same level of experimentation
I think what most people are trying to say is that the messaging is divisive from what normally is put forth about Kendrick and it comes straight from the horse's mouth here

May 13, 2022I think a lot of people are missing a big part of what kendrick is saying on this album: worry about yourself. It doesnāt matter if Kendrick drops a classic or not. Look in the mirror. Why do we need to rate everything anyway? Why does Kendrick have to deliver ā10/10ā albums all the time anyway? He is only a man just like me and you. Now what are YOU gonna do?
