I donāt think you need to
Iāve kinda accepted that no matter how amazing TPAB is as an album., thereās not much songs I would listen to outside of listening to the whole album
I think it might be the same with this (but there are more songs I would go back to on this I think)
100% agree. This isnāt an album for vibing but thatās fine. The message feels so necessary and forces introspection. I think itās one of those albums that youāve really got to sit down and concentrate on. Thatās dope
I just mean the handful of songs where heās doing the DAMN voice, and the vocal effects are very similar to DAMN as opposed to the others
I hear some TPAB here and there too
Guess its just cause Kendrick grew in this artist that we hear his past styles since GKMC
Kodak on this is weirder than Manson on Donda because a big part of this album is about sexual assault and Kodak is a rapist
My god Auntie Diaries is fr one of the craziest song Iāve ever heard
Especially going through almost the same thing with an aunt of mine who was born male being extradited by my family
Itās not trash at all, I just donāt want to listen to many of these songs repeatedly, even though I appreciate them for what they are. Some are absolute bangers though like Count Me Out
silent hill been on repeat for a hot min.

Talk to em

wym? Kendrick's not preachy here at all, he literally says he's not a savior and he does f***ed up s*** too. And if you're not tryna hear it, well, running away from the problems ain't gon fix them.
If any other rapper did a music video supporting OJ & Jussie Smollett, dropped the f-bomb, and had Kodak all throughout itd be able automatic cancellation
Itās gonna be interesting seeing the same ones who wrote entire reviews on Marilyn Manson & DaBaby on Donda suddenly ignore all this
You thought he was supporting them? I thought he was empathetically looking at them. Critiquing them. But not just them. The circumstances that made them. The culture.
gym time
letās see how this holds up
Wanted my first listen to be during my workout. Big mistake

I actually think there will be a 2nd album.....
My mandigo is erect the way the she flicking it. She really love
Bruh lets cut this s*** rn
Anyone that has LGBTQ+IA friends or family know how hurtful the use of that word is
This is the equivalent to morgan wallen making a song talking about the black struggle but dropping the n word on it
The message in auntie diaries would've remained the same without the use of a homophobic slur
Iām assuming you have gay/trans friends. Is this their reaction to things like this? Not saying people arenāt hurt by words, not saying people donāt have the right to be hurt, and definitely not saying he couldnāt have went with a better approach to the concept. Speaking from my experience around gay/trans people irl and not on Twitter. None of them are going to be bothered by this and most of them will either ignore it or understand the concept. Itās only Twitter do people pretend to be hurt and dramatic because drama brings clout and numbers. And with that being said, the point still stands that anyone offended is 100% valid. My overall point is less people genuinely going to be hurt by this than those who use it for a moment for a viral tweet. And itāll be some straight white woman more offended than an actual gay or trans person
