probably all of them. it broke spotify and apple music
fake stat? source?
Who else caught the Ye line on apple music lyrics in place of the Bron one for savior. It's updated now but probably a last minute change
wait really
p**** and mouth is all you got is such a wild statement but i know ppl irl who be saying this s***
I still don’t get the Kodak inclusion. I bet you Kendrick has no idea bro a rapist but damn you could’ve gotten lil baby or baby Keem to do that.
He's just tryna make his own Donda let him cook
Oh I thought you meant made as a good thing
Like she carried the album
nah like i was shocked to not see the usual suspects, anna wise, sza
it's a great look for her just surprising to me
Bro they s***ted on TPAB so bad lol.
Calling Kendrick preachy and the production boring.
I remember the Yeezus thread and how trash ppl thought that album was
you liked TT4 more than Conway?
Don't get me wrong, I loved the range of intense emotion Conway brought to GDMM, but man, TT4 is just an all around great album. Super Plug makes me feel like Thanos collecting another Infinity stone and listening to Billy Joe feels like a b****** pause.
Do you remember what his major points against TPAB were?
https://www.kanyetothe.com/threads/the-debate-everyone-should-be-having-about-around-kendrick-lamars-new-album.2828241/
I found this thread but I really wish I took note of everything he said and it's hard to remember since it's been a while
Basically (I'm paraphrasing, it's been years)
how surface level TPAB really is and heavily relies on things like respectability politics and what not. Him having lines like "shit don't change until you get up and wash your ass nigga" when in reality "shit don't change until the system itself changes and allows people to grow." To him, it seemed like TPAB had a very naivete and dangerous message for black folks and it kinda confirmed itself through the interviews around that time (how we gonna expect police to respect us if we don't respect ourselves) when in actuality, that shouldn't nor should it be something demanded on niggas in the first place.
Also thought the negus thing was wild funny based on how inaccurate it is (which is true, negus is not where nigga comes from lol)
Listening to 4:44 now.. Hov got more quotables in one song than this entire album
Quotables and punchlines is Kendrick’s Achilles hill
Kendrick simplest s*** be more pivotal
wait really
Yea I should've screenshotted but it read "Ye taught you to be loud" or speak loud
p**** and mouth is all you got is such a wild statement but i know ppl irl who be saying this s***
I kno some people to which that statement applies
fake stat? source?
Apple was broken for like 15 minutes and the album disappeared from the servers for a bit
Said this earlier but he really missed out on having Kevin Gates on here instead of Kodak
Gates was sexually assisted on stage and when he kicked the fan he went to prison for it
And more recently came out on songs and said his mother let him get molested by her friend when he was a kid
Funny you say this. We Cry Together reminded me of Posed To Be In Love and Kevin Gates is another rapper with a lot of Eminem in him. Think it's just the willingness to get ugly and the ugly experience to draw on
Lot of the stuff on here is s*** I been saying for years so it’s not really coming as a revelation or anything to me
Cool to see Kenny open other peoples eyes tho
My therapist said I relapsed
I said, "Pre-haps I Freudian slipped in European whips"
Mr morale. - I am - Jesus Quote - kendrick - kendrick with thorns - album cover
The big steppers - all of us
Iam. All of us. = Mr morale and the big steppers
Oklama been a***ysed as being a phrase in an old language meaning "my people"
Iam all of us - he's signing off all these papers as oklama
Oklama = all of us
Iam = all of us
We are all the big steppers including kendrick
I've said it before but this album is about the manifestations of trauma and breaking the cycle of hurt people hurting more people through generations. It is also about the prevalence of false solutions and prophets
There is so much to unpack here this is not surface level kendrick there is a very powerful message hidden in this album and the heart 5 - peep page 1399 for my general a***ysis
What is it?!
he definitely of that school of thought that any white girl with an accusation against a black man is automatically cap.
I remember the Yeezus thread and how trash ppl thought that album was
IDK i remember when yeezus leaked on here a lot of people were going crazy saying it was amazing too. there will always be haters when something is new and different
Don't get me wrong, I loved the range of intense emotion Conway brought to GDMM, but man, TT4 is just an all around great album. Super Plug makes me feel like Thanos collecting another Infinity stone and listening to Billy Joe feels like a b****** pause.
i gotta give it another spin Conway's really stood out to me from Griselda's usual thing
Kendrick stans just be saying s***
I don't think critics would be leaking copies of major releases without risking their job at it
We got IAD a full week early from review copies.
