NujaI donāt know how people can ignore how bad hip hop discussion has fallen off after being in a thread like this. This is literally the first time in god knows how long Iāve seen a nuance in the level and complexity of discussion in an album thread vs it being the usual suspects trolling for whatever NPC flavor of the week trap artist that dropped. I love seeing people break down albums, catching little things thrown in, actually discussing tracks, their meaning, etc. there is obviously nothing wrong with trap. I just have missed this right here so much with people having authentic takes and discussions going back and forth.
Hot takes for interaction and the extremes of album rating (classic or mid/trash with no in between) has completely ruined music discussion for me. Thatās why I donāt feel too moved either way when people just spew s***, I take my overall feelings towards an album as fact and just enjoy everyone elseās opinion for what it is and nothing further
